The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) Kenya has announced that Nairobi will host the AAPPRA Regional Conference from April 27 to April 29, 2026.   This high-level summit w ill bring together political regulators from across Africa—including delegations from Sierra Leone, Malawi, and Ethiopia—to discuss the future of political parties. As a provisionally registered party moving toward full status, the One Nation Movement (ONM) welcomes this initiative to strengthen democracy.   What this means for ONM Members: Digitalization: A major focus of the conference is the "Digitalization of Political Party Regulation." This aligns with our own mission to provide a seamless, tech-driven registration experience for our members.   Inclusivity Standards: The summit will set new benchmarks for the participation of Special Interest Groups (SIGs)—Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities—which are core pillars of our "Progressive Pan-African Social Democracy" ideology.   Transparency: New discussions on party financing and internal democracy will ensure that parties like ONM operate with the highest levels of accountability to their members.   “The hosting of this conference in Kenya is a testament to our country’s leading role in political reform,” noted the Registrar. “We are moving toward a more accountable and inclusive system for all.”

The One Nation Movement (ONM) calls upon all our supporters, especially the youth and first-time voters, to take advantage of the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise launched by the IEBC this week. The 30-day nationwide drive, which began on Monday, March 30, 2026, aims to register over 2.5 million new voters. This is a critical moment for our movement. To bring the "Progressive Pan-African Social Democracy" vision to life, every member must be a registered voter.   Key Details You Need to Know: Deadline: The exercise runs until Tuesday, April 28, 2026.   Where to Register: Visit any IEBC Constituency office, Huduma Centre, or mobile registration kits currently rotating through wards and markets in all 47 counties.   Requirements: Carry your original National ID card or a valid Kenyan Passport. Services Offered: New registration, transfer of polling stations, and updating of voter details.   A Message from ONM Leadership: "Our manifesto, 'Hatua Moja, Taifa Moja,' is a promise of progress, but it requires your vote to become a reality. We urge all youth who have recently received their IDs to register today. Don't just join the party—join the decision-makers of our nation."
